GO DOWN GAMBLIN pieseň skupiny BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS, ktorej autorom bol David Clayton Thomas a ktorá v roku 1971 skončila na 32.m. ako šiesty a posledný TOP 40 hit skupiny od roku 1969. I saw this performed live -- twice -- with David Clayton-Thomas on guitar (He wrote the song, y'know!), but Mr. DeBari has eclipsed David's technical ability.

The groups that first played in the 60s and 70s had terrific musicians so therefore live performances were better than albums.

Those were the days. Artists performed LIVE and left every ounce of their being on the stage. Nowadays nobody really does it the way these men did it. It's all dubbed, lip-synched. All of today's major "stars" do it. I remember some years ago when Beyonce, at a basketball game, came down from above. You could hear her singing even though she wasn't holding a mike. When she reached the ground she has handed one and she continued singing. There was no change in the sound whatsoever. Amazing!!
