Ich mag euer Lied Wheel of Time sehr gerne, weil ich ein großer Fan der Serie bin. +wickerspin1119 I think so, too. But that shouldn't be published with Blind Guardian but maybe with a new band with another (maybe german ;) ) name. I loved when Hansi is like screaming into the mic at 2:30 and he stops and says "War okay" (=was okay) like it was the most normal thing to have that kind of just extraordinary voice you cannot describe and which is, in my opinion, one of the greatest male singing voices I've ever listened toBlind Guardian for ever \m/

I'm curious, out of all headphones why would you guys be using the AKG's? Those particular pair of headphones have so much leakage from them and require significant amplification compared to many others. Isn't that the last thing you want in studio headphones? A lot of the sound circles back into the recording, and especially with all the overdubs you guys make, wouldn't phasing issues occur as a result?I've noticed that your music is very finicky when it comes to varying playback devices. It's very susceptible to change in terms of the dips and peaks in frequency response in different setups and layouts, and I suspect this might be part of the reason why. It's not really even possible to fix that much at the mixing stage since it would constrict editing and nudging/moving around the clips too much. I'm actually curious; am I missing something?

What makes you think singing an entire song in a foreign tongue is lazy? Blind Guardian does it all the time (they speak German but sing English).
