Gillen was far superior to Dio as a vocalist overall. Dio couldn't hit the highs and natural range of Ray. Especially in Badlands.

Ray kicked so much ass on vocals --- I bet he would have sounded great doing something from Whitesnake too -- it would have been interesting to hear it. Rock on forever Ray and Ronnie !!!

And secondly, if you think this is "unbelievably horrible", you must not listen to many (or any) bootlegs or audience recordings. This is actually quite decent. However, you are quite obviously ignorant on that subject based on your initial post, since you expected to find studio-quality audio here, despite this being a live recording with a singer who never even sang on record with Black Sabbath, officially anyway.

How is YOUR time being wasted? Seems kind of counter-productive to listen to a recording that is your words "unbelievably horrible", and THEN take the time to make a snarky comment about it. So obviously your time is too precious to listen to "unbelievably horrible" audio recordings, despite the fact I did not put a gun to your head and make you listen to it, but not precious enough to reply in the comments section on how terrible you think it is. Good logic there, chief.

Recordings this bad should not be allowed on Youtube. They waste enormous amounts of people's time. We have to start playing the video, then realize the sound quality is somewhere below "unbelievably horrible," then go back and look for something better. If the sound is this terrible, don't post it.

this isn't sabbath..it's a cover band with a bunch of hired guns, with Iommi on guitar !..terrible..awful...a disgruntle Iommi trying desperately to fill the Ozzy and Dio, void...

@Wyndrax He was the vocalist for Badlands, a group created in 1989 by Jake E Lee of Ozzy fame ... he died of aids in the early 90's. Oh yeah, he was a GREAT singer too. There debut album "Badlands" is still one of my top 25 favorite hard rock/metal albums of all time !!!

@raideraaron13 As far a Halford being the true voice of metal, thought that was Bruce Dickinson. I either case, interestingly enough, Halford has sung for Babbath also and there are youtube videos up that show a few song were he fills in for ozzy.
