Quintessential Heavy Metal vocals...Dio's vocal performance here is almost like the beginning seed of Thrash vocals, imo.

RJD completely murdered NEON KNIGHTS here. Why he thought "sounding evil" was more important than singing on this 1980 tour is a mystery.By the way, I saw this tour at Cobo Hall in 1980 in Detroit with Blue Oyster Cult. Had great seats. I wanted to scream when he introduced Vinnie Appice on drums. I was so geeked to hear Bill Ward and he was GONE.

When you'll have your ass sitting on a Harley in a tight formation, and on a long trip to Daytona, when you'll listen to this song in your HQ headphones in your helmet, if your smart enough to mount a pair in your helmet yourself, and riding in the wind, exchanging haulers of sweet leaf through the wind pipe, maybe you'll discover what this song's all about, especially if you end up arriving in Daytona by night time... This ain't no Hip Hop, this is ROCK, if you know what the word stands for...
