This version of "Computer God" was performed during the first of two nights in Costa Mesa, CA on 11/14 and 11/15 1992. Dio abruptly left the band when Sabbath chose to open for Ozzy Osbourne these two shows and Rob Halford was recruited to fulfill vocal duties. "Computer God" was only played the first night, and not on the second night when Sabbath played four songs with Ozzy. Enjoy!

Halford was very good here. He does the Dio stuff well. The Ozzy stuff not so great. Weird because Halford is a much much better singer than Ozzy

Verse sounds great but I miss the roaring power of Dios voice during the chorus. In the original there's a special moment when "there's another side of heaven" starts , which isn't as powerful in this version. Maybe Halford should have tried a falsetto scream during that part .

If u hear falestos here, you are deaf :) Maybe a few here and there... Rob Halfords range in full voice is C♯2-C♯6! Thats 4 octaves. This song was not made for him ,and period since the 1990 was really bad for his voice,i really dont know why... But to call the Metal God "pitched little screamer".. is really ignorant and dumb. If u dont like his style ,dont be hating like a 10yeard old kid and if u really have to express your oppinnion just say you dont like him doing this or any other song :)

Rob is just a falsetto singer, a high pitched little screamer. He can only dream of a chest voice like Dio. And the scream at the end of the song is shit in comparison of Dio.

Rob Halford does Dio songs well. They should do a tribute tour and have him fronting the heaven and hell line up. I like these high pitched vocals on this song, they are awesome.

I agree Dio doesn't suck he flat out rules!! So does Rob on this song. Just imagine what it would have been like if Rob had sung on the album that this song is off of. That would have been epic. I'm not knocking Ronnie, I'm just saying that it would have been cool if Rob had been chose to do that album with Sabbath. RIP Ronnie!!

@Maidensfan1 As much as I love Dio and consider him one of the greatest singers of all time. The fact of the matter is that Rob Halford is The one and only Metal God
