Top British rocker..This version is way cool..atmospheric backing echoes etc ..Great artist, would have been a bigger star if he had a better manager rather than that nonce Parnes..

Amazing talent. He didn't get the recognition he deserved. I used to live and work in Liverpool and worked at The Cavern Club at weekends as my second job. I absolutely loved it, especially during "Beatle Week" or "The Beatles Festival"! (Now known as the Liverpool festival)! I absolutely love the Beatles, but it seems Liverpool is all about them, which is such a shame when there were so many other talents to come out of Liverpool. The annual festival should celebrate ALL of those who rose to fame through their music. I suppose Liverpool has at least acknowledged Billy with that fabulous bronze statue at the docks. R.I.P Billy.

Billy has gone down as a rock and roll legend, and quite rightly so, the word legend is bandied about freely these days, but if there's anybody that deserves that accolade, it is him, a true rock n' roller.

Well like they say Carl it's never to late, there are 2 or 3 of me trying to teach on here, if you type in John Kelman you should see them. I will do some more when I get time, I was also in a band called Wimple Winch, that's on here also....
