This track, Skream: Midnight Request Line, Distance: Night Vision, Digital Mystikz: Pop Pop Epic got me into dubstep. These artists (and many others) convinced me that dubstep was more than just a mainstream fad. (It started out as a underground genre then became mainstream, albeit its mainstream counterpart has little in common with its underground counterpart.) When I was in high school a couple of years ago everyone else (except one kid that actually knew what dubstep really was) was listening to Skrillex. Needless to say Skrillex gave me a bad impression which made me think that dubstep as a whole was just tripe. Oh how wrong I was I looked up dubstep on Wikipedia (found out that Skrillex was considered "brostep" even though not all brostep is bad I like Chainsaw Calligraphy by 16 bit, Creature by Reso some of the works of Excision and Datsik) and looked at lists on Discogs.
