What an incredible song. I heard this on AM radio when I was 11 years old in '78. I wish I had a time machine so I could go back and relive the carefree days of my youth...and enjoy the great music of the '70s.

This song was written by Randy Goodrum, a really great songwriter who also wrote "You Needed Me" recorded by Anne Murray. Gene Cotton has an amazing voice. Just one of many underrated singers from that era.
