I just found out today that this song is referring to a Macroglossum stellatarum (Hummingbird hawk moth). All the other times I listened to this song, I had no idea what they were singing about. It's a humming bird moth that is acting like a bird (humming bird) who thinks its a bee (it drinks pollen). Yet another reason I love this band.
