Solo 0:43 Outro 1:45

While mixing I applied heavy compression to the opening chord. On the original Beatles studio track the solo was recorded with the master tape at ½ speed and an octave lower along with George Martin on piano. For this video I played the solo at normal speed and at the same pitch as the recording. I eq'd the original to leave just the piano for backing. The opening chord, solo and outro were separate edit pieces like the original track.

I eliminated the first bridge and third verse. This is a 1977 Rickenbacker 360 12 played through a Vox AD15VT set to AC30TB w/ no effects. Min Bass, Min Mid, Max Treble. Rickenbacker strings. The amp was close-mic recorded with a DR07 digital recorder and then mixed with the backing tracks created from the original recording. No tabs. No profanity in comments please.

My videos are really intended for accomplished guitarists who want to polish up their Beatles repertoire and can benefit from "seeing" how a song is played - I am not a guitar teacher and do not provide tabs. I welcome specific questions. If the various chords that I am playing are not familiar to you then I would suggest that you visit some of the many free guitar chord sites. I had to learn these songs by listening to vinyl records and watching live performances on tv.

Downloading some of these to mp3. Which I only do for special music. The stereo quality here is as good as I hear from any other youtube vids. So why not.At least here I can listen George and John's fabulous leads up close and more personal than a studio release from way back when.I hope that's ok. If not...please let me know ok.Thanks for this treat as well.

EXCELLENT JOB! I believe the closing riff is played a little different, isn't it? (on 4 pairs of strings instead of 3) The opening G is played on the E unison strings (first pair, as you're doing it) and then the F on the D strings instead. That way we hear that suspension ringing longer and when the F is played on the D strings we hear the octave, which seems to be present on the recording. What do you think?

Parece que estou reconhecendo esta mão, este tipo de roupa. Sei não, mas tenho quase certeza que sei. Quando descobrirem vão ter uma grande surpresa.tradução no google: It seems that I recognize this hand, this type of clothing. I do not know, but I'm pretty sure I know. When they discover will have a big surprise.

I'm going to out on a limb and just assume that the two who voted "thumbs down" here couldn't recreate these parts on their best day ever,,. ;)
