Love this song. The lyrics are so sharp and I find this more of a tribute to Brian Wilson than a put down.

The 90s fashions might not hold up, but this song definitely does.

This guy couldn't shine Brian Wilson's shoes. Unnecessary song.

I have loved this song for almost 20 years, and last summer I watched a documentary on Brian Wilson when I realized the song is actually biographical. I felt pretty dumb, but I love this song even more!!!

It's legal for men to call themselves bare naked ladies but illegal for ladies to walk around naked?

Hi Tau. Yes, you are absolutely right. That's what I said, what I meant. Maybe it just read differently. Perhaps I'll go back and spend another 4 years in 10th grade English class ha ha. When you write lyrics as complex as these, complex interpretation is bound to follow. Either way, love BTN. Jason

Why would they write a song about an NBC News Anchor?

Yeah Jason. We used to play this song at parties. I don;t remember when I first heard it but it is still clear in my alleged brain. The song tells of an era of abuse that we all endured, Sort of biblical you could say. Long live our abused vets. Al the Vet.

Bashing a musical icon for his personal problems would normally be a kiss of death. However, some some esoteric reason, BNL did it in the 90's and so many of us permitted it in the name of lyrical and musical genious. I can only guess that they did it with some sort of musical commentary, yet with amazing musicality. Good job BNL!! I love this song, bottom line. It's played on Veterans Network Online radio, just in case anyone wants to hear more unformatted gems. Jason the Vet. Oh BTW, Joe the Vet, I read few of your posts and I concur full on!!
