"A Fool Such As I" was written by Bill Trader and published in 1952 and was recorded by Hank Snow on May 19, 1952 and released in November, 1952 on RCA Victor records. There is no record of Hank, Sr. every recording this song and Hank's last recording session was in September, 1952.

This is a great version of this song, However, Hank Snow not Elvis was the first to record this song. Actually Elvis was the 3rd or 4th to record it, he did get higher in the charts with it than any of the others........
