I get on these 70's kicks once in a while, this is good stuff. I think one of the things that made it so good was the fact that there wasn't a bunch of layers of years of bullshit music underneath to influence these bands. Many of them were truly original in their sound (except for the ones who wanted to sound like the Beatles). It's a trait that is getting more rare as the years go by. Those original sounds are few and far between these days.

I wonder who the mean, lean woman was that Tom wrote this song about? ;)

My favorite of Tom's songs. Just spectacular! And Joey at the end is hilarious!

Good grief, some of the idiotic things Joey would do in front of the camera makes watching their greatness unbearable at times.

Was lucky enough to see Tom's Badfinger in 1982. Always new he was a great backing vocalist, perhaps one of the best in rock, but was blown away by the power and range of his voice live! Great show. (The Joey version I saw in 83 was equally as good) Only wish I had seen these four talented lads at their peak!

It was a privilege we had them even for a very short time. There are a lot of good musicians-bands where ever we go next-maybe it's one big welcoming rock concert-thanks Badfinger.

Am I the only one that hears a bit of "Oh Darling" in the opening lines? GREAT song though.
