When the list of greatest rock singers is discussed, you almost never hear anyone mention Robin Zander. That's just wrong.

This song is like a whole bunch of classic rock tracks all rolled into one: the guitar riff of the Yardbirds "Psycho Daisies", the stuttering vocal of the Who's "My Generation," the "My baby likes to rock" lyric of Ted Nugent's "Wango Tango," and the histrionics and stop-and-go rhythm of Zeppelin's "Black Dog." If you need an instruction manual on how to write a great rock song, here it is.

Pete was good, but I think he tried to emulate Tom to much IMO. I actually like Jon Brant much better because he played his own style and didn't try to be an imitation of Tom.

Nothing sexier than those leather pants on Robin. Great song!

I hate that. You watch these old episodes of SNL on either Netflix or Hulu and it's always the same thing. The episodes have all been edited and basically ruined, in my opinion. If only someone somewhere would grow either a brain or some f**king integrity and show these old episodes of SNL without cutting them to shreds. That would be nice, wouldn't it?

I remember seeing this in some bar in the Bronx, and my friend and I were ecstatic like two giddy idiots. Still love Robin Zander after all these years -- front men like him don't grow on trees!

Pete Comita ain't no Tom, but he ain't no Jon either. Dilemma.
