Yes they both hit high nots even whistle register but mariah hits better lower notes mariahs low notes are liek feminine deep and fantastic, arianas low cocal is still pitched, ariana is also like 20 she has a young voice,it will fade eventually soon but mariah slayed all these years eveb though mariah can hit those whistle tones they will stop at some point, after ariana there will be another whiatle tone singer and yall be arguing again just stop.

Haha I heard MIMI LIVE AND SHE SINGS AWESOME AND ON HER EMOTIONS SONG SHE CAN STILL HIT THOSE HIGH NOTES. my opinion is Ariana is an idol of Mariah Carey,mariah has to strong of a voice to label as anyone and 18 #1 says it all 2 more to go and mariah will be the best so will see who will be # 1 in a decade. When Ariana get 18 #1 and still going strong in 25 years..will see who's the best I think MIMI will be still number one.
