I DO NOT OWN THIS SONG

Lyrics :

The king's taken back the throne

The useless seed is sown

When they say they're cutting off the phone

I'll tell 'em you're not home

No place to hide

You were fighting as a soldier on their side

You're still a soldier in your mind

Though nothing's on the line

You say it's money that we need

As if we're only mouths to feed

I know no matter what you say

There are some debts you'll never pay

Working for the church

While your family dies

You take what they give you

And you keep it inside

Every spark of friendship and love

Will die without a home

Hear the soldier groan, "We'll go at it alone"

I can taste the fear

Gonna lift me up and take me out of here

Don't wanna fight, don't wanna die

Just wanna hear you cry

Who's gonna throw the very first stone?

Oh! Who's gonna reset the bone?

Walking with your head in a sling

Wanna hear the soldier sing

Working for the Church

While my family dies

Your little baby sister's

Gonna lose her mind

Every spark of friendship and love

Will die without a home

Hear the soldier groan, "We'll go at it alone"

I can taste your fear

It's gonna lift you up and take you out of here

And the bone shall never heal

I care not if you kneel

We can't find you now

But they're gonna get their money back somehow

And when you finally disappear

We'll just say that you were never here

Been working for the church

While your life falls apart

Singing hallelujah with the fear in your heart

Every spark of friendship and love

Will die without a home

Hear the soldier groan, "We'll go at it alone"

Hear the soldier groan, "We'll go at it alone"

Isn't it strange that this song is a decsent resemblance of mankind. That humans scurry around to achieve their wildest career fantasies, exhausting themselves to the point of disinterest in their own well being. I'm talking about the people who give up their pride and their health just to impress. Only they know who, probably their professor or maybe their mom, or more imortantly their boss. So they stop trying. And it happens slowly, bit by bit. First you stop caring that you consume 2X your caloic intake, when people are STARVING. Oh ho yes they aRe. Oh and you are just tooooo drained to get to the gym, or even better, walk around your neighbourhood, for hmm maybe, an hour? 2? Why not? Then maybe we'd spend more time enjoying the fresh air, and less of it clogging it up by shopping-buying-shopping-buying. Shit son I don't need you bacon socks or your mustache glasses. Some of the happiest moment I've spent have been quiet walks through neaby woods, or the fresh ocean breeze. It is waste! Waste waste waste! A waste of time spent making millions of people suffer working a job they were forced into because they were desperate. And being too busy to see and love their family. So everyone felt alone and bougt in to the things "they loved". What they did not forsee was that these precious goods will replace all life one day. Here's a hint, use your i-gadget to look into what the Canadian space agency is doing instead of playing the life sucking candy crush. Anyways I'm a psycho! Off to another planet earthlings. ●○••°○•●○°
