Crystal Shawanda's "Under the Influence: The Acoustic Sessions" will feature me,Crystal performing my favorite cover songs,from some of my biggest influences, stripped down,live,no tuners,no fancy video editing,just me! I'm not trying to emulate these amazing singers,because there's no way to compare to them,but they sure inspired me to sing along! All I can do is sing the song like me,and hopefully you dig it!

Episode 8 features "Will You Still Love Me", by The Shirelles,which Amy Winehouse covered as well! I have always been a fan of the girl group era,which also influenced Amy Winehouse,and I was also a fan of Amy Winehouse,so I feel like I was paying homage to some major girl power! I definitely leaned more towards the stylings of Amy,which is brave,because she totally blows me away! She was still growing as an artist,and I couldn't wait to see where it was gonna go next. It's so sad,when they leave us too soon.
