One of the best drummers to ever live is Tommy Adridge. Over 60 years old and still going strong and showing now signs of slowing down.

Triplets are quite easy, I find 16th notes with 1 foot a lot harder. You should be able to find some free lessons and tips right here on youtube as well. But yes, the key to playing Prayer or Liberate are triplets ;)

triplets, that explains it hahaha I didn't really have a teacher or lessons or anything, my music teacher at the institute said, "hey, we have a drumkit in the basement, you wanna go have a bash on it?" gave me a pair of drumsticks, and taught me one of the most used jazz rythms, and I went all the way afterwards by myself haha but triplets, that explains it hahaha new mission, find someone in my area to teach me triplets lol thanks for the suggestion dude!

I have been drumming for about 3 years now, double bass for about 2 years. I had some lessons in the beginning which taught me about triplets, which in Disturbeds case are quite important. Once you get the hang of it, it should be easy ;) the newer songs are a little bit harder, so you might wanna start with down with the sickness, believe, prayer and 10k fists. I find these to be reasonably easy.

I like most of Disturbed's songs, and the Wengren really does capture my attention with a lot of the things he does haha I've been drumming for other two years now, been a few months with double pedal, and I've tried playing a lot of disturbed songs, and I can't just yet hahaha hopefully soon eh? :P

I like Mike Wengren from Disturbed a lot, not necessarily from a technical sense, but because of the power in his performance and Disturbed itself. But I find it hard to pick a favorite. There are so many great drummers, in performance and in technicality, that make it impossible for me to choose one. But I think if I'd have to, I would pick Mike Wengren, since he and Disturbed have gotten me into drums. I guess maybe my favouritism could be compared to a childs love for a abusive father :P

Fair enough, may I ask your opinion on something out of simple curiosity? who is your favourite drummer, or the drummer of the group you most listen to? :P

Yah, I know. I also forgot to mention Buddy Rich and Derek Roddy. Good drummers also have to do with personal taste. I don't really like black metal, so I tend to dislike the drummers of black metal more than lets say progressive metal.

Well no, personal musical taste plays a big role in my comment... Buddy Rich or John Bonham could be in there as well, but hey whatever.
