Just to be contrarian -- there is Pop, Rock, and Metal there are no other 'genres'. IMO. I say this as a first generation metal-head. Please stop the useless, pointless arguments about which 'genre' Amaranthe belongs in. Their sound is unique. Ya'll do have a nice day! :)

People need to stop trying to categorize Amaranthe. Then again it's like asking humans to not be their true nature... Sit back and enjoy this epic music without sorting what genre it belongs to. Besides, it's up to the band to decide what genre they are...
