Amanda has been promising and promising and threatening to go back into the studio and do another album for YEARS. "Label issues" are the go-to excuse for her, I think she has personal issues myself. Not sure what they are, but I get the impression that her penchant for highlighting her mixed-race status is off-putting to record execs? Maybe.I've only been a fan since 1999 or so, but I'm burnt out waiting for her to get her act together. She doesn't have a label. She doesn't tour... she plays one show a year at Casino Rama or the Windsor to pay the bills and that's about it. She doesn't even have a website, personal or label-sponsored. (Her Sony site went the way of the dinosaurs years ago) She maintains NO social media presence, no Facebook account, no Twitter or Instagram accounts...Radio interviews, web interviews, it's always the same, "I'm coming back" No you're not. And that's truly tragic, because in my opinion she has not one of the best voices today, but has indeed THE BEST voice of anyone currently drawing breath, and that means better than Celine Dione, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood, anyone you can name, Amanda can smoke them.The most amazing thing to me is that with the rise in popularity of singing competition shows like American Idol, The Voice, X Factor, America's Got Talent... none of the contestants sing her songs. Can you imagine Juliet Simms (The Voice, season 2) knocking out "Beautiful Goodbye"? My feelings towards her are mixed. Her music moves me in a way no female artist has ever moved me (I'm a 53 year old guy) but I feel ripped off... like she doesn't care about the fans she's earned for herself. Those of us who have invested in her success to date by buying her music deserve at least *something* don't we?

This girl is a gift from G-d.She's so beautiful and spiritual. I pray for her deliverance daily.See the greed for more at work here... Yet unlike you guys (AL Huggins and Pilar Dehesa) I blame her also.Sometimes and this is a BIG "Sometimes" we have to bite the bullet for a higher good. Mandy wanted more also, a deal was struck and the opponents laid fist on claim; not budging. The lawyers won in the end and Mandy was silenced in the best years of her musical life.I weep for her poor decision. G-d provides for all. Always. She would have done better leaving it in G-d's Hand for justice and clarity of insight to what was.None the less she is an Angel and I LOVE her so much.May the blessings of The One be upon you Amanda Marshall !!!!!!!!!LoveA. this is my all Canadian rock inspiration right here. i saw her singing in bars when she wasn't even old enough to be in bars. Jeff Healey (may he always rest in peace) took her under his wing and then the problems with record companies showed their greedy faces, but guess what, she made it through all that and only let them keep her down for a time. what a strong woman she showed herself to be because i heard she's going back in the studio and on the road again and i'm sure she's going to stand those same #*%^@#$ right on their proverbial ears. you go Amanda and show them no kindness, just that same old "hard edged" rock. just look out at the front row, you just might see my face with the same old happy smile on it!!!. and you know why too.... because I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!!

I thought Id never find this video again. This song makes me think of my dad and my aunt. . I had another page on here and had it on there but when I couldn't retrieve my password.
