I don't understand why everyone is complaining. This is better than the abomination that was for we are many. That was a shitty album. i get what the guy was saying. I understand but, at a certain point you have to grow up and accept that music changes. This is the reason why no one likes metal fans. We complain as soon as the artist deviates from there original sound. As an artist would you want to be stuck in one genera. We complain about others not being open minded to our music when in fact most of use hate many other forms of music. This is awesome people are so confused about this songwriting. It's has nothing to do with fans. It's about all the people who have been ragging on the band the last 3-4 years at shows at stuff. Phil has always wrote lyrics like this even on the falls of ideas. Remember this line eyes fill with hatred when they fall upon me forgetting lessons learned that prove these the wrong ideals.phil is bored and tired the whole band is obliviously. So make money the glory days are gone people seriously this album is mediocre at best. But insulting an artists work is like spitting in there face. Yeah critics sure but people have flat out said some shitty stuff about these guys. So I find it funny that this is pissing people off. 1:28-1:38 gets me nostalgic. The Fall of Ideals was beyond fuckin increadible, but times change, and bands grow, sometimes the way we don't want, but it's their fuckin music their playing. If they released an album sounding the the old stuff just to make fans happy that'd make them sell-outs, no? Respect as ever, even if it means to agree to disagree on taste in sound with the band.
