this basically sums up the reason for my depression. the overall feeling that you're alive but not living. an overall feeling of emptiness and lack of fulfilment in life. just being stuck at base camp whilst watching people's lives escalate and being stuck in what is turning out to be the most fucking irreversible rut. days turn into weeks which turn into months, and hey before you know it an entire year has passed but there's nothing to show for it.

This song kicks some major ass. I saw Jerry a couple times in Camden. He put on a great show. He played a couple songs off of Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon' album. People went nuts.

For those of you who think AIC is dead, or should change the name. Come on AIC is Jerry always and always has been. Seen them live a year or ago with the new vocalist and Duvall holds it down on his own perfectly. The fact is AIC is still out there writing music of substance and feeling instead of the cookie cutter BS you here and your radio dial. SO GET OVER IT!!

Me too when this came out I thought it was an old aic demo. I think Duval was a great choice. The band made it clear that no one could ever replace Layne but they wanted to continue with the music it is their passion after all. Duvall has always been an aic fan. He seems pretty cool and respectful. When he met laynes mom he thought it was one of the coolest moments in his life. He used to be in a punk/metal band called ""Neon Christ"' so he knows what he's doing on that guitar.
