A previous poster said something that touched a nerve: I didn't ever try drugs, never felt that it was necessary. I have Layne Staley as a big reason for that. I have been a fan since 1990, and to hear his music and know his sad tale reinforced my decision to never play with drugs. This song especially. You can hear the pain in his voice. That's what it means to me.
