I love AIC they are my favorite band of all time from when they started out in the late 80s thats why i just cant get on board with Duvall he is a nice guy with a great voice. Just not the substitute for Layne they sound way different, trust me i want to be back onboard so fucking bad if they found someone with a similiar voice i would give it my best. I think Duvall tries to hard and in some songs where it would have been Jerry & Layne singing together Duvall is solo WTF. I know there is not another Layne out there but if AIC are gonna sing old songs just wish they found someone that sounds more like Layne God Dam i miss Layne!

yeah, it just doesn't feel right to me. If they at least chose a new band name that'd make me feel a little better haha. I don't really listen any new stuff really. maybe a few little songs from the arctic monkeys here or there. but my favorites are soundgarden, the doors, zeppelin, pantera, rage against the machine, howlin wolf, muddy waters, robert johnson, pearl jam, alice in chains, the melvins, and i enjoy some old school death metal from 80's and 90's. what about you?

layne is the voice and identity of alice in chains you fucking retard. that isn't fair to say at all. i love alice in chains and their singer, layne stayle. i complain about a replacement because no one should be replaced, if a key component of the band dies. you aren't that band anymore and you should move on. not contine and bring in faggot ass singers like this fool. who is a good singer yes. but it just makes the band look bad.
