Al Stewart's "Necromancer" from his album "Famous Last Words".

Apparently this was going to be his last album, but then he released six more. Al Stewart is a goddamn liar.

My favorite phrase is "the fury of euphoria". Very interesting observation.

This song was written by Al alone. Charlotte Corday is a co-write with Tori, and is a truly awesome song. As is this one, which was inspired by a film of a Hitler speech, with thousands in a rapt "fury of euphoria".

This might have happened if my last uploads hadn't been so low effort and then I forgot about them entirely for like four months.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned that this song was co-written by Al and Tori Amos.

HA Ratama aren't you glad he kept making music? You sound so angry he did not retire as he said he was going to. ROFL. Some people just change their minds.

Stunningly original and powerful. It broaches the dark side of humanity which we all should be loathe to bring to the surface
