Many have sung this song, some very well, but no one nearly as well as Al Martino.

Al Martino had a unique type of voice.Ive heard many different renditions of My Foolish Heart but his is my favorite and the backup orchestration is superb!! Whoever is that lady with the monsterous voice in the back up? I dont even know if there is an octave that goes that high. Spanish Eyes, Here in My Heart are his songs no doubt for me.Similarly, Stardust has been done, re-done, and then some by every singer born but once you hear Nat King Cole do it, youve found one of your wedding songs

What a voice. Love you Mr. Martino. This was a great movie with Susan Hayward as well.

I grew up listening to my Mom play and sing with Al Martino records, to this day, 50 years later, I still love to listen to his smooth and charismatic voice and songs! He is timeless and Classic!

saloon romantic ballad singer par excellence.I like this interpretation, regardless of other tastes. He could sing a bad fast food menu backed by spoons and digereedoos and make it sound good.

Too fast and way too much choral clutter and a hokey unneeded rhythm slammed out in the b/g. Martino was much better than this over-produced side.

This song is taken from Al's album. If it's on "HIS" album, he must have recorded it

Robert Wayne

Yeah, but he could if he wasn't a Hollywood finocchio who crys out like a woman, "What can I do? What can I do?" He should be more like Santino and spend time with his family. LOL

Johnny Fontane will never get that movie. I don't care how many dego, wop, guinea, greaseball goombas come out of the woodwork.
