I can listen to this cover. But I think akercocke's technical affinity wound up holding them back a little. That trebly thrashing sound Trey and Richard had is what made all of Altars special. So I guess doing it their own style didn't produce as good of a cover. That and the Antichrist sound (drums, guitar tones) wouldn't have made this cover as good as say the sound for Words that go Unspoken.10 years ago
