@Kajidourden You can't just say their old stuff was "better". While I prefer it as well it's ignorant to think that everyone else shares the opinion. I like to think of their recent ventures as different or experimental, not worse. People change a lot over the course of 10-years, you can't expect their music not to portray that.

I only respond to imply what I see as "common sense". Loyal fans are allowed to disagree with the direction a band goes. After all, are you in it for the music or for the band personally? If a band changes their music then it is they who have changed and either you can go with it or jump ship. If AFI started putting out Backstreet Boys-esque music would you still make your comment? Your comment reminds me of "Red America" who basically said it is NOT our right to question President Bush...
