I'm a MASSIVE Muse fan but I reckon this version is better vocally. Haven't heard much Lambert but obviously is an amazing singer.

Matt Bellamy is a musical/lyrical genius. His compositions are out of this world, dripping with passion and emotion. I personally prefer the rich, sultry nature of Matt's voice to Adams. I find its more pleasing to my ears and (although Adam has more "technique") Matthew has raw emotion... the way he caresses the words strikes something deep inside me personally. Not to put Adam down though... this is a nice, well done cover, but I think ill stick to the MUSE version :)

Bellamy wrote the song and GAVE IT TO ADAM for his album. Muse only did a demo. Bellamy has a nice voice, and is a great songwriter, but Adam is definitely the better singer, more range and more technique. This is quite beautiful, and his live concert versions were the showstopper of the 110 worldwide Glam Nation Tour stops in 2010. Just writing a song does not always make for a better performance, ask Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, any of the great singers.
