@Countryprincess74 Sorry, but because "Soaked" was recorded by Muse in 2006 and Adam Lambert didn't even show up on American Idol until Season 8, which wasn't until 2009, it's impossible for Matt to have written this song for Adam. To quote Mr. Bellamy, "I wrote a song called ‘Soaked’ when we were making Black Holes and Revelations... According to our publisher, it’s an Adam Lambert-esque song, who took second place in American Idol." And there you have it. =)

Muse would be able to pull this off if they released this as their own but matt wrote this for Adam lambert and for adam only to preform. so chances are that muse will never preform this live or record and release it no matter how long ago it was giving to adam

This wasn't released for the simple reason that it was too sappy and Muse's identity is not about intimate interpersonal relations. When Matt does write about love on the studio albums, he makes it a violent, dark, and/or anguishing thing, as seen in the lyrics of Invincible, NSC, FAWY, Starlight, IBTY, Undislosed and Unintended. There are other dimensions of interpretation in these songs that may not even be about love. Soaked, on the other hand, is not violent and is only marginally anguishing. Instead it is about pure respect and unrequited adoration of someone else; it couldn't really be interpreted as anything else and is thus one dimensional.

I think it is true that for this song adam sings a little bit higher than matt. But that doesnt mean matt cant sing at a higher note. If you are saying that adam is a better singer, u must have forgotten the existence of microcuts and showbiz. Lol just joking
