Huh! What do you mean? Quiet Riot sound excellent live, better than Def Leppard actually. Joe Elliott was too coarse and raspy in my opinion.

@afasterfish if you think about it, albums are just something to expect in live. i think that the live performances are more enrgizing with awesome solos from steve and rick

yeah, but Leppard could pull it off. Leppard is the best live band I ever saw, I saw them 9 times on Hysteria tour, none on Pyromania unfortunately. They were a tight band. I know what you mean, the production got over the top and many bands sounded thin, Quiet Riot comes to mind, although Kevin DuBrow had a crazy good voice, they just lacked the same sound as the album
