this 100% solid killer debut was put down as a 'commercial sellout" back in the day...a stupid backlash to Nirvana's getting famous & the underground becoming 'commercial" (ie selling copies versus starving)..and hey, they were women (who tend to just get more grief).. All BS aside & 15 yrs later....amazing work that still holds up as a 90s gem. As compelling as Nevermind but quieter (and far better than any of the Spiderman movies)
