THIS PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED PERFORMANCE IS WHERE TOMMY'S SUCCESS IN THE ORANGE UNSIGNED ACT COMPETITION BEGAN.

Tommy Reilly travelled all the way down from Glasgow to the open auditions and performed his track "Gimme a Call" in front of our judges Jo Whiley and James Oldham.

At first it looked like Tommy would be making the long trip back up to Scotland without a smile on his face, as Jo thought he wasn't ready, but as soon as Tommy left Jo realised she'd made a mistake and said he was the best she'd heard all day.

Young Tommy was immediately called back and given a place at the main auditions - and thus far remains a strong contender in the competition along with the four other remaining acts.
