I find this a very hard song to play and I always make a mistake somewhere but I have been threatening to do it so I thought I'd just do one take and put that up otherwise I'd be there all day. Please excuse the crapness - I'll bare my backside in Woolies window on the day I get this one right.

I really like your interpretation on this. I play it using probably a good 50-60% different chords than you do. Of course, there were at least two overdubs so Marr could layer the fabulous guitar parts, but you've done a nice job of going and grabbing a lot of those elements and bringing them together in a way that sounds convincing and interesting. Really good. JM capos the second fret (as he does on a ton of live Smiths). Makes the chords and apreggios easier to play. The strumming on the studio version is exhaustingly fast.10 years назад
