I played in a punk band in Hollywood 78 and 79. Drums.Band name was "Distemper." We looked at "Black Flag,""Germs" and a very bizarre Band, "Throbing Grissle."But "The Ramones" were perfect for the time. New York City had crumbled.Hollywood for music was a shell. "I wanna be sedated," nailed the feeling of that moment in time. Intense…..together…….and unglued. Perfect. Thanks Guys.I will be playing this song on stage in Tennessee soon.
