For those of other religions or youngsters who may not know the origin of this hymn, the lyrics are the words of Jesus, himself, in The New Testament, when he was asked by his followers how to pray. He responded with the words you are hearing. That's the reason the prayer and later hymn, are entitled, "The Lord's Prayer" which is said and sung, by millions, around the world.
