The third track from the Guess Who's 1968 LP, 'Wheatfield Soul'.

'I Found Her in a Star' is one of Cummings' greatest compositions. The song features Bachman on fuzz guitar. It's songs like this that make it a shame that The Guess Who aren't nearly as popular as they should be.

Composer(s): B. Cummings

Performer(s): The Guess Who

Producer(s): Jack Richardson

this should have been on The Best of the Guess Who, much like another park another park another sunday should have been on the Best of The Doobies. Always seems to be one of the best left out

Just like nobody listens to the New Kids on The Block, Vanilla Ice, or any of the sappy love song and club crap from the late 80s early 90s. Thankfully that garbage got buried by the grunge rock craze, some of which was quite good since it was from real bands.

Just play all the old stuff for your friends and turn them on to the real music which is timeless. People won't be listening to Beiber 45 years from now. That music is just a product used to make a quick buck. This music is forever.

@bigredoneder Currently in my high school days... It's just not fair. You had the Beatles and Stones, and I get Justin Beiber and Jersey Shore. Nothing can be done about it, but the music of yester generation hasn't gone anywhere. "Kids these days" don't have bad taste, they just aren't being played good music. Play these songs to any people my age like I have, and they go nuts. Luckily, I was raised by this music. Hell, I learned to read from the back of Beatle LPs.

Tiny: Thanks so much for the post. This takes me back to my high school days. God... it was so long ago. But, the music was so good. It is the one part of my youth I will always have with me. Thanks again.
