The Chiffons were a great group, but by 1969 they must have realized that they needed to change their sound, especially due to the times. I'm surprised they didn't to go for more of a soulful Stax sound or a later 60's Motown sound. The sound that made them popular was long gone.

Interesting pop song considering it was released in 1969 while having a 1961/62 flavour to it...The Chiffons were/are always worth a listen.
