Charted at #18 on Billboard Hot 100 in November 1963. This was the only charting record for this group of girls from Cleveland, Ohio. It was also their first single. Original Billboard review: Pop Spotlight: "Another female singing group that has a strong chance at the big 50. Side is in a style similiar to that of the Angels and tells the story of the attributes of a forceful lad next door". Written by John Madara & David White. B-side is "Learnin' To Forget".

Hey Lime -- I realize you render a great service by posting all these great songs, and I thank you for it, but I must ask you -- do you not care about things like.... 1) who wrote the song? 2) who arranged the song? 3) who produced the song? Really, you don't? Is it all about the hairstyles and the go-go-boots? Well if those things I mentioned do matter to you, or even if they don't, they most certainly do matter to a great many, perhaps the most, of YouTube browsers who happen upon your channel, so puh-leeze provide that info, and I and many thousands more will thank you, and love you even more than they do already. For example , who arranged this Secrets song? Who produced it? Who wrote it? It's far too good to ignore that sort of info about it. -TRSM

Many thanks for uploading this song which was popularised by the Cresendos in South East Asia in the 1960s. However, the sound quality was largely inferior to that of the Secrets. You are simply wonderful!

This went to #8 on WLS in Chicago and was in the top 10 with "She's a Fool" by Lesley Gore (one of my most favorite songs ever) and Robin Ward's "Wonderful Summer" another #1 hit!
