One of my favourites from this album with the Strawbs and Sandy. Love the voice of Sandy so much, especially from these early folk albums. It is always bittersweet for me to listen to Sandy knowing that it has been so many, many years since her passing.My mind starts racing thinking of how she could have been saved after reading the details of her death and prior fall before the 2nd fall. I picture her as she must have been when she was singing in small folk clubs like Bunjies in the early days. Picture her upon the small stage and acoustic guitar in hand in the early days of her performing alone.

Oh how true. Those TV shows have little to do with music at all. It's product and "drama" they are looking for, not talent or creativity.

@robnaylor55 That's very true. I recently listened to a radio show, within which they played the top 40 from some year in the 70's, and some of the music was truly dreadful!

@CelticReject Yes, that's true...she wouldn't win "Britain's Got Talent" today....but then she wasn't exactly "mainstream" back then,either. People forget that the COMMERCIAL music industry's always been like that...we have a lot of great talent to look back on from the 60s and 70s,sure,but there was a huge amount of dross back then,too,making money for the labels. There are still non-commercial people out there with bags of talent doing good stuff,but as always you have to search for it.
