It's interesting to see that it was a surprise that she covered this song, Maybe it is because it was on Street Angel -- her least popular album. But this isn't the version that was released, but an outtake from the sessions. It's a little funny because she is mimicking Bob Dylan's mannerisms more obviously here. The album take is more toned downed. As an after-thought,she asked Bob to contribute to the recording. He chose to play some harmonica fills. I'm surprised he obliged her.request. I guess they sort of know each other.,When Tom Petty was touring with Bob in Australia, Stevie decided to show up unexpectedly and crashed the party... ..

Great Dylan Cover, and I don't say that lightly. Big Dylan Fan. But...his voice was not always the best for some versions of his songs. ex. Jimi Hendrix -All Along The Watchtower was a billion times better than Bob's version. Stevie can Rock Any Song She Wishes To Sing!She is the Queen of Rock n Roll Forever!!

I agree, good vocals. The song could have been written about Stevie! But the tempo's a little too fast, and I have to also agree that the production is inappropriate. But Bob himself plays the harmonica,so I guess that he approved!

Personally I don't care that she was heavy 1987-1994, what i care about is that she was miserable those years. she was addicted to klonopin then and says it was the worst thing that ever happened to her. she was also addicted to klonopin when she made the street angel album and says that on the other side of the mirror tour there were whole nights of touring that she had no memory of the next day (she went to rehab while street angel was being released).
