Is it just me or does this song start out sounding like Ultravox's Vienna. Funny seeing Midge in a pop band. Thanks for sharing this.

I agree that the sound is just so Bay City Rollers! Midge still tours and is without doubt a multi-talented musician.

Midge Ure before Ultravox - they looked and sounded like Bay City Rollers (both from Scotland)

it's weird; i love the original ultravox! lineup, and i love midge ure in slik, pvc2, and rich kids, yet i was never a fan of midge in ultravox. regardless, GREAT stuff right here. sort of glam rock's final stand, and a great close to a great movement!

When I first heard this song on the radio way back in 1975, as the song ended I keenly and excitedly listened out for the DJ to announce the name of the band,,, I was sure I heard him say 'that was Forever and Ever by SICK!' So age 11, I went down to my local record shop and asked if they had that new single/record by SICK. They didn't know what I was talkin about. I was desperately frustrated as I really wanted to purchase my first ever record. So I kinda embarrassed myself and went all red faced by trying to sing the song to the shop assistant. OH, you mean SLIK! he said. And that was the story of the day I bought my first ever record, with my hard earned paperboy money.
