There are many great rock 'n' roll songs. And there are some important ones too - you know, Rocket 88 by Jackie Brenston & His Delta Cats, Rock Around the Clock by Bill Hailey and His Comets, Move It by Cliff Richard and the Drifters, that sort of thing.I would like to add this wonderful track by Showaddywaddy - Hey Rock 'n' Roll.No wait, come back! It's wonderful. Here they are on German TV in 1974. This year is the 40th anniversary of that song and the band is still touring - albeit with two original members and other long-standing members.I saw them play earlier in the year and was lucky enough to meet them - what a great bunch of guys. So enjoy - Hey Rock 'n' Roll

Funny how everyone says how good they are live, I saw them once in 1983 and they were crap. That's not to say I don't like them, it's just that gig was crap as they only played for about half an hour and they looked like they didn't want to be there.
