I had this album. Had being the key word. I know as I listen to it that it is post Chris, and I didn't think I had any albums of the boys after Chris left the band. But obviously, that was not a true fact in my life, as here it is? So anyway, I always liked the cover art, it has a lot of demons or something on it? I was once quite familiar with demons. Some were, as memory serves, some of what I thought were my only friends? But they lied to me, Yup, they even took the king of hustle. Him, Hustle? That used to be a name that I once called muself, though that too turned out to be a lie. It is a hard life when you roam far from home, an always unfamiliar horizon?

Always an underrated band, Savoy Brown played the blues with more soul than 90% of the other groups who claimed to be blues groups. Even without their regular front man (Chris Youlden) this version of the song is one of the best ever recorded. Kim's guitar smokes, Bob Hall's piano fills in brilliantly and the rhythm section of Lonesome Dave, Tone Stevens and Roger Earl chug along. Great work and a song I never get tired of listening to.
