'Some Lovers' was written by the legendary Burt Bacharach and is released on December 13th as part of Rumer's new EP, 'Rumer Sings Bacharach at Christmas', which also features Rumer's version of Bacharach's classic, 'Alfie'. It will be released on a limited edition 7" vinyl, designed by Rumer herself, and will also be available to download and buy on CD from December 13th.

Echoes of some of the simplest, cute-as-they-can-be, songs Burt wrote in the 60s. Sure there were maddingly complex songs, and even this one is very ingenious all over, but it does share elements of some of the breeziest earlier works. Burt is absolutely right when he says there is a huge diversity among his songs. There's more diversity in his work than in perhaps any other composer's since Gershwin. But this songs does say "Bacharach" from beginning to end.13 years назад
