After reading your post, I had to look thru my cds. I have 20 sealed copies of this cd ... and one opened copy .. none of them have the remix on them. I didnt understand this - now I do, The [Bonus Track] is only available on the MP3 download in Cloud Player. I will download that version and upload it this weekend. Thank you for bringing that to my attention :)

@BloozeDaddy76 I have seen ronnie perform live twice. I agree he can put the new voices to shame. I Enjoyed mylife and I am very disapointed in radio today. I am on XM sirius for the past six years. At least they play his new stuff.

@davehlgrn I think Ronnie decided to put this song out not caring if it got on the radio or not. His 2006 CD "My Life" was all modern country all the way and should have been a hit with country radio for sure, but the rat bastards wouldn't play one single track from it! No matter how great Ronnie still is, there is simply no room for a talent of his calibre on country radio. The man makes Taylor Swift sound like a karaoke singer!

@BloozeDaddy76 , I agree that this song does not fit on his new album. Funny thing, I think it's the best song on the album. I think he can get back on the charts, why didn't he re-record this song is a mystery to me.

@MrNotNiceGuy I totally agree. While this has been a favorite of mine for years ... it almost seems out of place on the cd. It would have been great had Ronnie re-recorded it. And as I have said... I only uploaded this Cd here to try help promote it.. If you are having trouble finding it in your local stores ,,, it is available online at Amazon.com ... I believe the is $11.88. I dont know who is in charge of promoting this cd but they need to work harder! I'm just saying ,,, dodybelle

I do not for the life of me understand why Ronnie did not re-record this song, he has the voice to perform this today. As much as I like this song it should have been redone, it does sound a little outdated. On a flip note I read a review where it said Ronnie was only trying to appeal to his older artist...well what the hell is wrong with that? Long time fans dont have money to buy CDs today? JHC people in the industry today are dumb

This is a decent song from 1980 that was never realsed as a single, and it's strange why it has been resurrected for the new album. This sounds nothing like current country and if Ronnie's aim was to get back on the charts with this song, what was he thinking? This song is totally late 70's.early 80's in sound and style. It's still better than anything else on country radio though.
