I saw him live in east Tennessee when I was younger.... he opened for Dolly Parton and she was a letdown after him. And I liked her even as 'Miss Dolly' as she emerged to stardom with Porter Wagoner on his TV show.

These guys are definitely early 90's legends, Joe Diffie and Mark Chesnutt made their debut in 1990, and Tracy Lawrence made his debut in 1991.

Oh OK! I thought you were refering to me! Oops, sorry about the misassumption! We do agree on one thing though: this was a great event to watch and to happen in country music history!

I never implied at all that was what you meant.I just simply stated the reason why all 3 were performing that song on stage.

Cont. I at least like many artists over the decades; primarily older, with a # of newer ones. I listen to country, rhythm & blues, soul, jazz, blues, gospel, classical, some adult contemporary, a little bit of rock & pop each, etc. until you get to reggae, metal, hip-hop, & post-'70s dance. I'm not as close-minded as I made myself out to be somehow; they did sound sincere, though that's not enough for everyone. (To self: The problems w/ miswordings; that's the 2nd time, get your act together!)
