Thanks so much for posting this - Robert liked good music, period. He sang everything from R&B to lounge music to heavy rock (listen to "Flesh Wound" for the perfect example") and did it all fearlessly and well. He is missed.

Thanks for posting! I was there, dancing on the first row. He was great. So terribly sad he passed away not that much later. Drunk or stoned or just happy as hell... who cares, it was short but heavy. We need more Palmers nowadays.

no problem. understand. was not criticizing you at all. it was just a comment wondering if he had not been drinking if it would have made a difference. Consider us friends. I do not drink or do drugs myself.happily married. a few yr older than Mr Palmer. it reminds ppl my age that we are not immortal. It's very sad though-he had children who will miss him very much. Glad that his son got to play drums with him in the last live performances.Keep in touch. will be back later this week. :)

Thanks for your comment......I wonder too........I meant no disrespect to Robert because I will ALWAYS love and respect him.....after all, he is a LEGEND......Everyone has their problems, and as talented and wonderful as he was, he was only human. You are absolutely correct.....I miss him so much!

wonder if he had slowed down with alcohol he might have lived longer. At this age you can have all kinds of underlying health issues. not saying the drinking killed him but probably didn't help.
