Thanks for your comment. Yes, I checked and Edwards recorded this on 9 June, 1943 according to his bibliography. It's a fine song and he displays a mature, beautiful voice here.13 years назад

Really fine recording which does show his serious side. I think it comes from late in his career in the 1940s. His 1920s sides do point the way to crooning and some scat as well. By this time he's heard Bing Crosby and others and has deepened his own style.13 years назад
