I do not know what possessed them to think Glenn Frey could do this song justice. He butchers it. Timothy or Don would have done a much better job, if Randy was unavailable. It is not a country song the way Glenn sings it and he has ruined it for everyone.

I so miss Randy's vocals and bass guitar talents on this song; when Glenn Frey sings this song with the Eagles - it is a poor comparison on Glenn's part. It is a great song Randy; and your voice should have been utilised on Lead Vocal duties far more often within the Eagles structure - unfortunately the ego's of the two focal-point lead vocalists failed to recognise your beautiful tones and timbre`. Many do though - thank you for being there.

Den här fantastiska Eagleslåten med Randi Meisner på lead valde jag och min fru som bröllopsvals när Vi gifte oss! Underbar!

I am hopeful Randy will be well enough to tour with them again, but I will not say a bad word about Tim B Schmidt, the man is a great bass player and singer in his own right, the current Eagles should utilize his vocal talents more frequently.Randy what can I say that hasn't already been said, the man is a fantastic person and singer, and he had the balls to stand up to Frey all them years ago.

He refused the pressure to sing those high notes but, as you and I both know, it went much deeper than that. He was desperately unhappy; an introvert adrift in a world of Alpha male extroverts who had lost his ally. Bernie and Randy represented the old "Whatever Happened to Saturday Night" country rock sound. Glenn and Don had moved on. That is seriously scary.

3:07 Hit the wrong bass note, happens even to the best. He sounds a bit nervous even here, I think.

He somewhat looked a bit like John Fogerty in the late 60's here. Mostly his hair.

seems a bit funny that one of the reasons for him having to leave the eagles was that he refused to sing this song

He had '80's hair, nothing wrong with that. I had the same hairstyle in 1988, LOL.

Teased hair, older, who cares. It's the VOICE. He didn't stand still without moving,as in his Eagles days. Seems happier or maybe not so tense Did anyone see the video of the 1977 concert where he looked so nervous prior to singing this song. Rocking back and forth a little and patting his chest as if he were giving himself a pep talk. This was either the night or very close to the night he left.

Hairdo is over the top. That being said I always liked his vocals on this one.
